Who We Are:  Nationally, the Coast Guard Auxiliary is an organization of approximately 30,000 volunteers who donate their time and their facilities (boats, aircraft and radios) to assist  the U.S. Coast Guard in all of it's missions.  The Auxiliary was established in 1939 by an Act of Congress as a non-military organization composed of citizens of the United States and its territories and possessions, who are seventeen years of age or older.

Flotilla 5-4 is a local unit of the CG Auxiliary located in Hamilton, OH.  It's members are active on the Ohio River and other waters of Southwestern OH, Southeastern Indiana and Northern KY.

Flotilla meetings are held on the 3d Tuesday of each month from 7:00 until 9:00pm.  In Summer months (May-Oct) we meet at the HFlotilla 5-4 on Patrol Photoamilton Boat Club.  In Winter, meetings are held at the Scarlet Oaks Technical Campus. For information about membership in the Auxiliary, Boating Safety Courses, Vessel Exams or other topics, click on the links to the left or contact the Webmaster link below.

Recreational Boating Safety is our passion.  We provide speakers, media content, kids programs and Public Information Booths to inform the boating public about safe boating.
